PHOTO TIPS

The better your original photo, the better the painting will be. The picture of the cat was taken at a high resolution, so the enlargement looks nice and crisp. The picture of the dog was taken at a low resolution and an enlargment makes it look blurry and pixelated.

      1.  Email the photo as big as possible.

      2.  The original jpg file from your camera will work best if it's taken at a high resolution.

      3.  The file should be at least between 300 KB to 1 MB, but bigger is better.

      4.  Do not compress your photo and do not reduce the size for emailing.

      5.  Send the file as a jpg, tiff or pdf. I can not accept any Word documents.

      6.  There is a good chance that I can work with a picture you took with your cell phone.

      7.  If you have to scan your photo, please scan it @ 300 dpi and about 4" x 6".

A LITTLE PIXELATED IS OKAY...

The two pictures below were not taken at the best resolution, but they were still good enough to turn them into really nice paintings. So if you're not sure if your photo meets my requirements just email it to me and I will let you know if I can work with it.
